Wednesday, October 09, 2002 Puppetry of the Penis Is Long On Controversy In yesterday’s Net Freak Alert, I recounted the long, hard road (c’mon, I HAD to do it) the duo known as Puppetry of the Penis has traveled in the last few days. http://www.topica.com/lists/netfreakalert/read/message.html?mid=1711168913&sort=d&start=51 Now station officials of Salt Lake City, Utah NBC-affiliate KSL http://www.sltrib.com/10092002/utah/5424.htm refuse to air the ENTIRE Jay Leno show because Simon and Friendy are going to TALK about their act. Not whip them out. Just TALK about their performance. Evidently, viewers of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-owned station are completely unable to not watch Leno through their own volition. http://tonightshow.msn.com/ But evidently New Zealand isn’t much better http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2002/05/09/1020914029644.html (Understandably, the Puppetry of the Penis site http://www.puppetryofthepenis.com/ has completely maxed out. Try the site next week, you know once everyone has forgotten about these poor boys.) Thanks to the Obscure Store for giving me something else to rant about today! posted by Kathleen at 9:15 AM | Permanent Link
